Dinghy in the Making I

My friend, Jacque Basson in Cape Town started working on our new stitch and glue plywood dinghy. We pre-cut all the components on our CNC machine here in Johannesburg and shipped it down to Cape Town. Jacque squared and aligned the bulkheads at specified distances obtain from the plans. He then used cable ties to "stitch and glue" the side panels of the dinghy to the bulkheads. After this, he "stitched and glued" the bottom panels. He then turned the dinghy around and squared everything up. He will now make a thickened epoxy mix and apply this to all the joints. Once cured, he will then apply a thin strip of glass over all the joints and and then wet this cloth with epoxy.
