Easy Rope/Chain Ratio

Here is our EASY anchor Rope/Chain Ratio calculator in Acrobat Reader interactive (fillable) format. It is quite simple - all you have to do is add certain values and the form calculates the ratio between anchor length versus water depth. Besides the water depth where you wish to anchor, you can make allowance for freeboard height, adjust for height tide, add water depth for storm surge situations.

Type in the anchor water depth.
Add for your freeboard.
Check the tide and add for high tide if required.
